FALL 2010 TRENDS: UNDERWEAR AS OUTERWEAR

Let's face it we all have them. There are some that no one will ever see and others you buy with the notion that someone will definitely see them. But lately, ladies have been taking their undergarments out of the bedroom and onto the streets sparking one of the biggest trends for Fall 2010- Underwear as Outerwear. Being a fan of loose fitting sheer tees and opulent undergarments, it doesn't take a lot to figure out why this is my favorite trend of the season. From the runways to the magazines and the streets, lingerie is out there to see and be seen.

Lacy bras layered under sheer blouses, slips paired with comfy knit sweaters and jean shorts with thigh highs and garter belts- this trend shows no signs of slowing down.

Think that wearing lingerie will give men the wrong idea? Well, in a recent poll 57% of men rated the body-con dress (think Herve Ledger) as promiscuous and "Lingerie as Outerwear" ranked at only 43%. That's less than half, ladies, proving that you are a lot less slutty if you just take off that skin tight dress and walk outside in your skivvies. Now that's something to think about.
