Bradlee Dean's Anti-Soros Screed Mirrors Glenn Beck's Anti-Semitic Smears

Crooks and Liars on Glenn Beck's attack on George Soros (a Hungarian-born Jew who survived the Holocaust):

Anyone familiar with the history of anti-Semitism in America is more than familiar with the architecture of Beck's argument: Here is this conniving, conspiratorial rich international-investor JEW who is buying up all the media in American and surreptitiously seeking to destroy the American economy. The only thing new here is that Soros, an avowed atheist, has a largely secular "hidden agenda" rather than a religious one.

One of Beck's smears in particular stood out in this regard -- namely, his LaRouchite claim that Soros had participated in "confiscating" Jewish properties:

Beck: His childhood is shocking, dramatic. He grew up in Nazi Europe. Fourteen years old -- he had to help the government confiscate the lands of his fellow Jewish friends and neighbors.

Michele Bachmann's favorite punk preacher Bradlee Dean repeats that smear in a blog post titled "George Soros Exposed!":

During an interview with “Sixty Minute’s” Steve Kroft, Soros explained that he "rather enjoyed it" (that being, confiscating his own people with the Nazis), and that he did not feel guilty for it, but rather had "feelings of absolute power."

It's a smear and a lie that is dissected and debunked at Media Matters.

Bradlee Dean also titled a blog post "What Happened to Those Who Crucified Christ" in which he lists punishments meted out to the people Bradlee Dean considers responsible... Jews:

The Jews, who heard and rejected Christ, were destroyed by Titus, and Vespasian his father, in 70 AD, about 40 years after the passion of the Christ, to the number of eleven hundred thousand, beside those who Vespasian slew in the subduing of Galilee. Seventeen thousand were sold and sent into Egypt and other provinces to vile slavery; and two thousand were brought with Titus in his triumph; of whom, part he gave to be devoured of the wild beasts, part otherwise most cruelly were slain.

So, besides being anti-gay (last weekend he talked about the merits of castrating, incarcerating and hanging homosexuals) and anti-muslim, Bradlee Dean spreads anti-Semitic smears.
