WITH MICHELE BACHMANN IN OHIO, CLARK CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES
“THE BACHMANN AGENDA”
New map, videos, and interactive tools track Minnesota’s missing Congresswoman and her agenda

St. Cloud, MN – Where is Michele Bachmann?

For the third time in just four weeks, Bachmann will not fly home to her district on Friday, but will instead land in Cincinnati, Ohio to deliver a speech to the Hamilton County Republican Party. Reports say Ohio GOP donors will pay between $70‐$90 each to hear from the Minnesota Congresswoman.

To mark the occasion of Bachmann’s trip to Ohio, Tarryl Clark’s campaign for Congress today launched a new portion of its website called ‘The Bachmann Agenda.’ Included in ‘The Bachmann Agenda’ are her record on recent issues including Social Security and Medicare, videos on Bachmann’s travels and agenda, and an interactive ‘Where in the World is Michele Bachmann?’ map, where you can follow her travels across the country, along with quotes, video and photos from her travels. They join Clark’s online ‘moneybomb’, an innovative online fundraising technique tied to Sarah Palin’s upcoming campaign visit for Bachmann. The moneybomb has already garnered more than 1,500 online pledges.

“More often than not, the answer to the question ‘where is Michele Bachmann’ is: ‘not in her district,’” said Zach Rodvold, Campaign Manager for Tarryl Clark’s campaign for Congress. “It’s clear Congresswoman Bachmann’s priorities are chasing her national celebrity and pursuing her personal agenda – and those priorities come at the expense of her district. While she appears on countless national talk shows and conservative conventions, a local reporter stumps her by asking her to name just three things she’s done for her district. Her constituents deserve better.”

“It’s time for a representative who will do the job she was elected to do and put her constituents first,” continued Rodvold. “Tarryl Clark has a record of fighting for her constituents and delivering results.

When Congresswoman Bachmann refused, Tarryl stepped up to work on important initiatives – including Northstar and the Granite City Crossings Bridge – that help business, grow jobs, and invest in the people of this district. We need Tarryl Clark in Congress to do the job that our current 6th District Representative
is neglecting.”
