GIVENCHY COUTURE FALL/WINTER 10-11

I am not going to rant and rave about Givenchy, because you have already heard the speech here, here, here, and here. BUT I will say that I may have stopped breathing a bit when I saw this collection. The collection was about half the size of the last couture collection as to put an emphasis on the exclusivity that is high end couture. Even though there is no use of black, a rarity for Givenchy, the collection still has the dark and gothic undertones that have made Tisci's work so laudable. Ostrich feathers, rhinestones, lace and tulle took this glam collection to a whole new level and secured its place in our red carpet future.
