You would expect politicos would steer clear of an extremist like Bradlee Dean, but if you go to the YCRBYCH website, you find letters of recommendation from former Mayors of Elk River and Plymouth (and of course Bachmann).
There's even a letter of recommendation from Bobby & Steve's.
Bachmann serves on the House Financial Services committee... why isn't she doing something to plug the hole that's spewing these toxic plumes of Ponzi?
A full two months after the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the still unplugged gusher continues to poison the environment and the economy. But the politics of the ongoing disaster may have shifted some this week after the White House inked a deal with BP that will create an escrow fund of $20 billion to cover claims arising from the oil catastrophe.
Conservatives immediately pounced: Apparently, in trying to hold BP accountable, that socialist Barack Obama was overreaching yet again. Michele Bachmann called the fund "a redistribution of wealth," while Rush Limbaugh attacked the agreement as "extortion."
Well Congresswoman, right here in Minnesota and elsewhere there is a massive "redistribution of wealth" funneling money from investors to financial fraudsters. There are real victims of these financial frauds.
Bachmann needs to do something about these gushing plumes of Ponzi schemes washing up on the shores of Lake Wobegon... what's stopping her?
At the end of this video, Bachmann says the role of Frank Vennes (who has not been charged) in the Petters Ponzi scheme has not been fully explained... that remains true to this day:
A Minnesota congresswoman wants to remove part of the federal protections on the St. Croix River, so a long-debated bridge can finally be built near Hudson. Republican Michele Bachmann says she’ll introduce a bill this week to remove the designation of the Hudson and Stillwater stretches as a Wild and Scenic River.
Although Bachmann said at a news conference Monday that one possible form of legislation she planned to pursue was having the area where the bridge would be built removed from the protection of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, a Bachmann spokesman said Thursday that was no longer under consideration.
"She was never committed to that," said Dave Dziok, Bachmann's communications director. "That's not the most effective approach to take. She's going to explore all sorts of alternatives."
The Sierra Club North Star Chapter does not oppose a bridge... they oppose a big, ugly bridge:
"We would hope the park service would take this opportunity to reconsider and re-evaluate the impact of the current proposed bridge," Levin said. "A more appropriate and affordable design would save taxpayer dollars and maximize our public investment with a bridge that is both fiscally and environmentally responsible."
Another example of Bachmann's grandstanding going nowhere.
