Is Bachmann Using Tucson Shootings as an Excuse to Avoid Reporters?

MPR:

Bachmann was not granting interviews this week, citing the shootings of U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and others in Arizona, her office said.

But, Bachmann gave an interview to Larry Bivens recently in which she said her big accomplishment was her use of Twitter and Facebook. Perhaps Larry Bivens got that interview before the shootings?

Bachmann may not be giving out interviews, but she has tweeted her concern over the shootings:



Bachmann also Facebooked a similar message and received these replies from her fans:

"I hope she gets back to at least where she was before the Shooting occurred, But being a Democrat she wasn't RIGHT in the head to begin with. Maybe the Doctors can fix that for her too. Get Well soon Gabrielle."

"Yeah, I'm about tired of hearing only about her. It's as if she is royalty. And the congress needs to get back to work Ms. Bachmann and I hope you all aren't buying into this "civility" jargon being thrown out by obama."

"We do we not hear about the other people who were injured? Isn't it spectacular news enough for the lamestream media??"
