Tarryl Clark's Campaign Response:
STATEMENT BY CLARK CAMPAIGN MANAGER ZACH RODVOLD ON BACHMANN BUS TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT
The following is a statement from Zach Rodvold, Campaign Manager for Tarryl Clark for Congress:
"After eight months, and in between visits to Texas and Florida, Congresswoman Bachmann has finally decided to squeeze in two days in her district talking with her constituents. Despite writing that the August Recess is an opportunity to connect with constituents, Michele Bachmann has not held one single public event that her constituents can attend, and even skipped parades to headline a rally in Dallas on Saturday. A carefully staged bus tour can't cover the fact that Bachmann's focus is not on the people of the 6th District.
By contrast, since the August Recess began, Tarryl Clark has attended countless parades, visited Farm Fest, Game Fair and several county fairs, and has held public meetings in city halls and senior centers across the district. Voters in the 6th District know that if Tarryl is elected, they'll get more than a once-a-year bus tour. They'll get a Congresswoman who cares about them and is committed to addressing the challenges they face."
