Unnamed Congressional Staff Sources: Michele Bachmann Is Not a Team Player

Politico has an interesting article about MichelePAC, Michele Bachmann's PAC formed to help elect "constutional conservatives", which is code for theocrats.

House Republican aides think Bachmann could be helpful but warn that staying on the same team is important.

“Michele Bachmann wants to win back the House as much as anyone, to serve as a check on the unbridled liberal agenda of the past 18 months,” one senior House Republican aide said. “Her hard work will no doubt contribute to that effort if the focus remains on the failed Pelosi/Obama agenda.”

Another GOP strategist was hardly as accommodating.

“Who needs the DNC, DSCC and DCCC when the Democrats have Michele Bachmann and Jim DeMint working to preserve a pure Republican minority, instead of growing a big tent majority in Congress,” the strategist lamented. “They might as well start a nationwide bus tour together and call it the ‘Ego Express.’”

This reminds me of when Michele Bachmann was removed from leadership in the Minnesota State Senate.
