The AP reported today that four Federal agents were honored for the work they did to put Tom Petters behind bars for masterminding his $3.6 billion Ponzi scheme.
I had a front-row seat at the trial of Tom Petters and I was very impressed with the professionalism of the Federal agents as well as the prosecutors.
I was also impressed with the fairness of the investigation, prosecution and trial of Tom Petters... I think all Minnesotans believe Tom Petters got a fair trial... well, not everyone...
Bradlee Dean and his sidekick Jake didn't think so.
In this segment from an April 11, 2009 broadcast Bradlee Dean defends Tom Petters and "another man that will hopefully be coming out of this spotless" (2:27). Bradlee Dean does not identify the other man. I presume the man is an associate of Tom Petters.
Here is a segment from earlier broadcast (4/04/09) in which Bradlee Dean again claimed Tom Petters was being treated unfairly:
It would be interesting if Bradlee Dean would revisit the subject of the prosecution of Tom Petters on his show. I would also be interested to learn the identity of the other man Bradlee Dean mentioned.
