Bachmann on the Chris Baker Show Calls her Opponent a Liar

Kind of ironic to hear Bachmann talking about "death panels" with a guy who talked about mowing down demonstrators with a machine gun.

"My opponent has just so brazenly and blatently lied about what I said. So this shows you that right out of the gate, that these people are not telling the truth, they have no plans to and so if they are altering how I look and coloring my teeth, that tells you who they are and how low they are."

Well, the teeth do look a little yellow on the Clark Campaign video compared to this photo (click for closer inspection):

Bachmann doesn't seem to remember, but she used an unflattering picture of her 2006 opponent Patty Wetterling in this video and Bachmann put her opponent in cross-hairs in this video and claimed Wetterling was "too extreme for Minnesota".

That claim was received with guffaws when she debated Wetterling in Andover:

Then Miller ran an ad from the Bachmann campaign charging that Wetterling was too extreme for Minnesota.

"Patty Wetterling is too extreme for Minnesota?" Miller asked Bachmann incredulously. Bachmann avoided answering the question and blathered on about how she and Wetterling are polar opposites so voters have a clear choice. Miller wasn't buying it.

Wetterling then raised the Bachmann ad that Wetterling wants to negotiate with terrorists. That led into a long discussion in which Bachmann lied that Wetterling said exactly that in the last two debates. Miller clearly didn't believe her and hammered her several times to tell her what Wetterling actually said. Bachmann said Wetterling wanted to negotiate with the opposition in Iraq and King Jung Il in North Korea (yes, she actually got his name right!).
