This spring I read about Tom Emmer giving financial support to a “Christian” group who encourages countries like Uganda and Nigeria to enact the death penalty for gays. At the time, I thought, “Emmer couldn’t possibly know what this group endorses.” Then just recently I learned from the Minnesota Independent that both Michele Bachmann and Tom Emmer’s campaigns have intimate ties with the “Christian” rock band, “You Can Run But You Cannot Hide.”
The GOP also sponsored a booth for this rock band at this year’s state Republican Convention.
Just what does “You Can Run But You Cannot Hide” have to say about the subject of homosexuality? Well, according to their front man, Bradlee Dean, they believe that gay people should be murdered, much like they are in conservative Muslim countries. “Muslims are calling for the executions of homosexuals in America,” Dean said. “This just shows you they themselves are upholding the laws that are even in the Bible of the Judeo-Christian God, but they seem to be more moral than even the American Christians do, because these people are livid about enforcing their laws. They know homosexuality is an abomination.”
I feel spewing this kind of hate and calling for the death of American citizens is an abomination. I also absolutely know that anyone who has ties with these hate-filled young men have no business representing Minnesota citizens.
These people do not believe in “justice and liberty for all.”

It's not just Bachmann and Emmer, Bradlee Dean has the support of many top politcos in the MN GOP.
Read how Bradlee Dean (Bradley Dean Smith) and his ministry of hate reported a whopping increase in revenue in one year from $385,703 to $1, 015,605.
