"JIM THE ELECTION GUY" MAKES MORE THINGS UP IN NEW WEBSITE
www.bachmannsfakejim.com allows users to see what false accusations "Jim" can make about them
The Clark campaign today unveiled a new website that takes aim at Bachmann's "Jim the Election Guy" - or rather, lets "Jim" take aim at you.
While Bachmann's fake "Jim" - apparently a paid actor from California - continues to make false accusations over the airwaves, the website www.bachmannsfakejim.com takes his misleading rhetoric online, generating outrageous accusations against the website's visitors. Users submit basic information and Fake Jim delivers an accusation, such as "You shot J.R.!" or "You took over 100% of the private economy." Just like "Jim" the Election Guy, the website has hundreds of different false accusations that it can generate.
"For three weeks and counting, Congresswoman Bachmann has paid a fake 'Jim' to attack Tarryl Clark over the airwaves with claims that have been called 'false,' 'misleading,' and 'wrong.' For anyone who wants to find out what it's like to be the subject of one of 'Jim's' absurd attacks, there's now a website for you," said Zach Rodvold, Tarryl Clark's Campaign Manager. "Just like Bachmann's fake 'Jim' will say anything on TV - regardless of the facts - now he'll say anything online, too. See for yourself at www.bachmannsfakejim.com."
Yesterday, Clark released a new TV ad featuring Jim the Actual Voters - real Jims from across the 6th District talking about why they support Tarryl Clark. The contrast remains clear: while Bachmann pays an actor from California to mislead Minnesotans, real Jims - and voters across the District - stand with Tarryl Clark.
